Every political campaign depends on donations and volunteers to get out their message.
Donations help to pay for advertisements, yard signs, supplies, mailings, door hangers and other expenses.
Volunteers perform many vital and valuable tasks such as:
Post a lawn sign
Distribute lawn signs
Write letters to the editor
Make phone calls before the election
Host an event for the candidate
Help with mailings and administration
Volunteer as poll watchers
Encourage the electorate to get out and vote
Volunteers not only help get their candidate elected, but they also get to meet like-minded people and learn new skills.
If you’re pressed for time, but want to get involved and influence the future, then consider micro-volunteering.
Micro-volunteering is a small, bite-sized task or project, that is quick and easy to perform. Best of all there’s a range of things you could do online, in a very short period of time. Donating processing time on your computer, signing an online petition, or promoting your candidate on social media are all examples of micro-volunteering that you could do.
Please consider volunteering.
