Thank you for your interest in my campaign for 32nd Representative District.

My husband Bill and I reside in Dover and have four children and four grandchildren. I have a medical billing business and work for a Mental Health practice in Dover. I have served in the U.S. Army Reserves. I was a Caesar Rodney School Board member for 5 years and continue to serve on the CR Budget Oversight Committee. I am a life-long Delawarean which makes me very aware of the issues that we face together.

Because I have served on a school board, I know first hand how important it is that parents, teachers and administrators work together to make decisions about how to best educate our children. Every student needs an education, whether they pursue college or workforce training. In Delaware we spend an average of $225,000 for each student’s K-12 education. Think about that for a moment. We have changed education standards and have highly qualified teachers for the past 12 years. Have we seen that transfer to student outcomes?

In addition, everyone wants to live in a safe community. We need to make sure that we support our police departments and provide the education and tools needed to do the job well. We need to uphold the laws that keep our communities and officers safe. Our laws in Delaware must represent the individual people of Delaware and not special interest groups. It is time we put the “public” back in public policy.

Lastly, I want to know what issues are most important to you. If there is anything you would like to discuss, I am open to listen…  Contact me.
